What is CraftKids Academy?
CraftKids Academy is a blog about hands-on learning activities for children ages 3 to 9. We are Magdalena and Mateusz Kwiecien, a two-person studio in Krakow, Poland. We have been designing printable teaching materials since 2020 and we write here about what works in a real classroom and at a real kitchen table.
Is everything on this blog free to read?
Yes. Every article, idea and tutorial on the site is free, with no account and no sign-up.
What ages are the activities for?
Roughly ages 3 to 9: preschool, pre-K, kindergarten, and first through third grade. Each post says which age range it was written for.
Can I use your ideas in my classroom?
Please do. That is what they are for. Use them with your class, your after-school group or your own children as often as you like.
What paper size should I print on?
Anything we describe here is planned for US Letter, 8.5 x 11 inches. It also prints on A4 if you choose Fit to page in your printer dialog.
Can I share your posts on my blog or social media?
Yes, with a link back to craftkids.academy. Please do not copy a whole article or republish our images as your own work.
Do you sell printables?
Not on this site at the moment. Our Polish-language shop has served teachers since 2020, and an English-language shop may follow later. For now this is a blog.
How do I suggest a topic or get in touch?
