Hello, and thank you for finding us. We are Magdalena and Mateusz Kwiecień, a two-person studio in Kraków, Poland. Since 2020 we have been drawing printable teaching materials — worksheets, classroom decor, games, seasonal packs — for preschool, kindergarten and the first three grades of primary school.
Most of that work has been in Polish. CraftKids Academy is where it starts speaking English.
What this blog is for
This is not a catalogue. It is a place to write down what we have learned from six years of watching teachers use our files: which activities hold a group of five-year-olds for twenty minutes, which ones fall apart the moment scissors appear, how to set up a station so that children can start without an adult reading the instructions out loud.
Expect posts about activity ideas you can run tomorrow morning, craft tutorials with the steps that actually matter, seasonal themes from the first week of school to the last, and the small practical things nobody tells you — paper weights, ink-saving tricks, how to laminate without warping.
Who it is for
Preschool and pre-K teachers, kindergarten teachers, grades 1 to 3, homeschooling parents, and anyone who spends a rainy afternoon with a child and a stack of paper. Ages 3 to 9, roughly. Every post says which age range it was written for.
Say hello
If you are planning a theme and cannot find anything useful for it, tell us. Write to [email protected] or use the contact page — we read everything and we reply within two business days. Topic requests are the best possible way to shape what we publish here.
